The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) took a stern stance on Monday as it expelled 27 leaders for anti-party activities amidst the heated Bihar assembly elections.
Two sitting MLAs, Chote Lal Rai and Mohammad Kamran, along with four former legislators, are among those expelled, signaling the party's zero-tolerance policy against defiance of its ideology.
The move comes ahead of the elections scheduled for November 6 and 11, with senior party officials asserting that these leaders acted against the interests of the INDIA bloc-backed candidates.
