Bihar CM Candidature Sparks 'Jungle Raj' Debate

Chirag Paswan, Union minister and head of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), expressed concern on Tuesday over the choice of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav as the chief ministerial candidate for the INDIA bloc in Bihar.

Paswan believes this decision resurrects memories of 'jungle raj', diminishing the opposition's chances in the upcoming state assembly elections. He responded to Yadav's criticism of the NDA for not naming a chief ministerial candidate, affirming Nitish Kumar as the NDA's leader.

Paswan also pointed out internal dissatisfaction within Yadav's party, suggesting his premature candidacy might alienate voters, while Nitish Kumar remains a stable figure in the NDA's campaign.
