Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has called on Prahar Janshakti Party leader Bachchu Kadu to engage in discussions with the government about farmers' issues, rather than resorting to protests that unsettle the public. He warned that such agitations can be manipulated by 'vested interests.'

Fadnavis made these remarks in response to a tractor rally led by Kadu in Nagpur, advocating for a complete loan waiver for farmers. Fadnavis emphasized that the government is committed to addressing farmers' concerns through dialogue, and reiterated the willingness to discuss unmet demands.

The Chief Minister stressed the government's efforts toward farmers' welfare, including a Rs 32,000-crore package. He assured that a committee is examining the loan waiver request, while also focusing on assistance for farmers affected by heavy rains.
