On Wednesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a fierce attack on the INDIA bloc at rallies in Bihar, accusing the opposition of nepotism and making allegations of corruption. He claimed RJD leader Lalu Prasad aims to install his son, Tejashwi, as Bihar's chief minister, while Congress leader Sonia Gandhi allegedly wants her son, Rahul, as Prime Minister.
Shah raised concerns that if the opposition came to power, members of the banned radical outfit Popular Front of India (PFI) might be released from jail. He advocated for the NDA's record in youth engagement, infrastructure development, and maintaining order in Bihar.
Highlighting NDA's contributions, Shah cited projects like metro rail and AIIMS in Darbhanga, and refuted allegations about jungle raj under the NDA. He positioned the upcoming elections as crucial for preventing the return of 'jungle raj' and emphasized NDA's alignment with local cultural heritage by recognizing Maithili and expanding the Ram circuit.
