West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose is contemplating filing a defamation lawsuit against Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee after claims of weapons being stored at Raj Bhavan proved baseless.
On conducting a comprehensive search of the premises, involving Kolkata Police and central forces, no arms or ammunition were found.
With legal consultations completed, Governor Bose plans to take the matter to Calcutta High Court, following false allegations suggesting complicity in arms hoarding and favoritism towards BJP-linked individuals.
