The Indian naval vessel, INS Karmuk, is set to conclude its participation in the Singapore-India-Thailand Maritime Exercise 2025 (SITMEX-25). This pivotal event, entering its fifth year, commenced on November 23, orchestrated by the Republic of Singapore Navy.
SITMEX-25 seeks to fortify maritime collaboration, improve interoperability, and strengthen the collective prowess of the participating navies across the Indo-Pacific. Beginning with a three-day Harbor Phase, the exercise focused on fostering camaraderie through cross-deck tours, professional exchanges, and friendly sports competitions.
The Sea Phase, which started on November 26 and will wrap up on November 29, involves complex maneuvers and drills along the International Maritime Boundary Line. The exercise showcases the unwavering commitment of the involved nations towards a free, open, and inclusive Indo-Pacific, culminating in a closing ceremony aboard RSS Dauntless in Phuket.
