Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel articulated a vision focused on 'earning well' and 'living well' as foundational to accelerating Gujarat's progress towards becoming a 'Developed State' by 2047. The announcement was made at the conclusion of the 12th Chintan Shibir in Dharampur, where Patel detailed the state's strategic roadmap aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for India.
Patel underscored the importance of fulfilling responsibilities with dedication and public welfare in mind. The Chintan Shibir, initiated by Modi in 2003, was noted for its positive outcomes driven by Team Gujarat's collective effort for the state's advancement. Patel highlighted the significant rise in Gujarat's per capita income, showcasing the state's economic progress over the past decades.
Additionally, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi emphasized the significance of grassroots implementation of insights from the shibir to further the welfare of marginalized communities. The CM also underlined the importance of teamwork and initiated a campaign against malnutrition, showing a commitment to holistic development.
