At a public meeting in Mahabubnagar district, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday launched a scathing attack on BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao for neglecting the region's irrigation projects. Despite Rao's 2009 Lok Sabha election win from the district, projects like Palamuru-Ranga Reddy remain unfinished, Reddy alleged.

Addressing local concerns, Reddy pointed out that the district, once associated with erstwhile Hyderabad state's CM Burgula Ramakrishna Rao, saw renewed hope with his own ascent as CM. He assured constituents of no fund shortages for development under his leadership and urged voters to elect officials committed to progress in upcoming Gram Panchayat elections.

Reddy also touched on Telangana's ambitious economic goals, touting initiatives like the 'TelanganaRising 2025 Global Summit' to attract investments and grow the economy. Additionally, he showcased welfare strategies such as free travel for women on public buses and support for women Self Help Groups through sales on platforms like Amazon.
