JP Nadda, the national president of the BJP, commenced his noteworthy visit with prayers at the Baba Baidyanath Temple in Deoghar, Jharkhand, accompanied by party leaders. The Panda Dharmarakshini Sabha extended a warm welcome as he paid homage to Lord Shiva within the sanctum sanctorum of this revered temple.

Following his religious duties, Nadda's agenda included participation in a program marking the RSS centenary in Deoghar and the inauguration of a newly constructed BJP office. Shiv Pujan Pathak, a BJP state leader, disclosed Nadda's plans to address booth-level workers from 12 districts during the day and virtually inaugurate another party office in Gumla.

Nadda's strategic visit aims to strengthen BJP's foothold in regions such as Santhal Pargana and Gumla, vital for the party's influence, especially ahead of the West Bengal assembly elections. Later, Nadda visited AIIMS Deoghar, concluding his tour with a closed-door meeting with senior party leaders, including State BJP President Babulal Marandi and other prominent figures.
