Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto commenced a two-day visit to Pakistan on Monday, aimed at reinforcing bilateral relations and exploring new avenues of cooperation.

Welcomed by Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Subianto's visit coincides with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Indonesia.

Discussions will cover trade, investment, defence, and cultural exchange. Several agreements are anticipated to strengthen cooperation, following the last visit by Indonesia's President in 2018.
