A CRPF personnel from Rajasthan, Karamveer Yadav, tragically passed away in Manipur soon after being promoted to head constable. His sudden death, suspected to be due to cardiac arrest, shocked his colleagues and family.
Yadav, aged 39, was part of the 189th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force. Originating from Gandala village in the Kotputli-Behror district, he joined the force in 2007. This week, he received a promotion from constable to head constable, marking a significant career milestone.
On Tuesday night, after completing his duty, Yadav returned to his residence to rest. When a colleague found him unresponsive, emergency services were contacted immediately. Despite rushed medical attention, Yadav was declared dead at the hospital. His body will be flown to Delhi for a tribute at the CRPF headquarters, followed by a full military honors cremation in his home village.
