Explosive Encounter: CRPF Jawans Injured in Maoist-Linked Blasts

In a shocking turn of events, two CRPF jawans from a CoBRA battalion sustained severe injuries following improvised explosive device (IED) blasts in the Saranda forest of Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district.
According to authorities, the explosions occurred during a critical search operation, with Maoists suspected of planting the devices. The local Superintendent of Police, Amit Renu, confirmed the incident to PTI, revealing that the team had been actively searching for Maoist activities in the region.
The injured personnel, head constable Alok Das and sepoy Narayan Das, received initial treatment at the CRPF barrack before being airlifted to a private hospital in Ranchi for thorough medical care. Police officials have vowed to intensify their crackdown on Maoist elements in the area.
