Senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot has endorsed his party's demand for a share in governance in Tamil Nadu, stating that every political party aims to play a role in governance. Addressing media queries, Pilot emphasized that such aspirations by Congress cadres were legitimate and aimed at serving the people of Tamil Nadu.
During a recent visit to Chennai, Pilot was greeted enthusiastically by party members. He voiced confidence in the DMK government's performance, saying it has earned public approval. Despite this, he remained firm in his belief that the BJP and NDA would struggle to gain a foothold in Tamil Nadu politics.
Pilot's remarks come as Congress deliberates on coalition participation if the DMK-led alliance wins the upcoming Assembly elections. While some Congress leaders push for sharing power, DMK's stance remains against coalition governance. Pilot also criticized the central government's financial decisions and advocated for fair electoral processes.
