In a compelling call for solidarity, Vellappally Natesan, General Secretary of the SNDP Yogam and prominent Ezhava leader, urged for unity between Kerala's Nair and Ezhava communities. He described this as the "need of the hour" to ensure cohesion among Hindu communities in the state against a politically divided backdrop.
Natesan reiterated the SNDP's vision of uniting communities from Nayadi to Namboothiri, clarifying that this stance does not aim to infringe upon other communities' rights. He expressed concern over past attempts by the IUML to create discord between the Nair Service Society and the SNDP.
The leader also addressed recent criticisms labeling him communal, insisting his opposition targets the IUML's political strategies, not the Muslim community itself. Natesan's remarks come amidst intense political debate and allegations surrounding communal politics in Kerala.
