Speaking in Parliament, Singh argued that while the government celebrates a portrayal of a uniformly prosperous India, reality tells a different story. He pointed to stagnant wages, high youth unemployment, and the challenges faced by MSMEs as significant concerns.

Singh further criticized the country's economic strategies, stating that India's manufacturing is more export-driven than value-adding.
