BJP Lauds Modi Government's Stand on Internal Security and Anti-Naxal Efforts

BJP's Rajya Sabha members praised the Modi government for its decisive approach to internal security and eradicating Naxalism. Highlighting reforms and the upliftment of millions from poverty, they credited leadership and policies for these achievements. The misuse of AI and deepfake technologies was also flagged as emerging threats.

On Tuesday, BJP's Rajya Sabha members commended the Modi government for its firm stance on internal security and efforts to eradicate Naxalism. Nominated member Ujjwal Deorao Nikam emphasized that India now takes bold decisions on security and key policy matters.

Nikam indicated that while some had previously used the Constitution for political gain, the current government embeds it within its governance framework, lifting over 25 crore citizens out of poverty. He attributed these achievements to the government's intention, policy, and leadership, stressing trust-based reforms.

The potential threats from Artificial Intelligence and deepfake misuse were highlighted as concerns by Nikam. Additionally, Deepak Prakash applauded the government for dramatically reducing Naxal-affected districts, crediting leaders like Modi and Amit Shah. Geeta, a BJP parliamentarian from Uttar Pradesh, underscored significant national progress and impactful initiatives like the Ujjwala scheme and Jal Jeevan Mission.
