In a strong rebuke, YSR Congress Party leaders have condemned recent attacks on the homes of former ministers Ambati Rambabu and Jogi Ramesh. The party decried these actions as deliberate, politically motivated attempts to stifle criticism.
According to former minister Anil Kumar Yadav, the attacks mark a failure of the ruling leadership to address the Tirumala laddu controversy and the demand for an apology following SIT findings that reportedly excluded animal fat in ghee. He criticized a government-led culture of violence and intimidation.
Former minister Perni Nani accused top leadership of orchestrating the attacks using hired groups skilled in violence, alleging police inaction and legal negligence. Both YSRCP leaders have vowed to challenge governance mishaps and emphasized that misuse of power cannot sustain a government indefinitely.
