In a significant diplomatic engagement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday reiterated Pakistan's dedication to enhancing ties with Libya. This commitment was conveyed during a meeting with visiting Libyan Prime Minister Dr. Osama Saad Hamad in Islamabad.
The meeting saw both sides exchanging views on mutual interests and the importance of strengthening their bilateral relationship. Discussions focused on collaboration expansion, aiming to promote peace and stability regionally and internationally.
High-ranking officials, including Field Marshal Khalifa Abu-al-Qasim Haftar and Pakistan's Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, attended the discussions. The talks concluded with an understanding to maintain close contact and explore future collaborative opportunities. Separate talks between military leaders also emphasized defense cooperation.
