In a recent statement, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar clarified that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was not briefed on Israel's recent military strikes against Iran during his visit. The decision emerged shortly after Modi's trip, aiming to neutralize perceived threats from Iran.

During the Raisina Dialogue, Sa'ar emphasized the strong diplomatic relations between Israel and India, noting Modi's exceptional rapport with the nation. "Great relations have developed over the years, but the decision for the military action was made after Modi's visit," Sa'ar stated.

The joint military offensive was executed with the US after the collapse of negotiations with Iran. Iran's continuing nuclear activities and missile development were cited as threats. Sa'ar suggested that a change in Iran's regime might be necessary.
