Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Saturday criticized Congress MLAs for their disruptive walkout during the governor's address in the Punjab Assembly, suggesting they were avoiding listening to the AAP government's accomplishments.
The budget session commenced tumultuously on Friday, with Congress MLAs voicing strong opposition and exiting the session while Governor Gulab Chand Kataria was addressing. Despite Kataria's attempts to maintain order, the Congress contingent proceeded with their protest.
When asked about key policy issues, Mann refrained from providing details but hinted at potential announcements during the budget presentation. Meanwhile, he addressed various state issues, such as the repatriation of residents stuck in the Middle East and the controversy surrounding newly painted state buses.
