The Congress party has commenced strategic preparations for the upcoming assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, according to its General Secretary and MP, Mukul Wasnik. Wasnik stated that the All India Congress Committee (AICC) has appointed three seasoned observers to supervise the election agenda across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
Among the appointed observers are Qazi Mohammad Nizamuddin, Uttam Kumar Reddy, and Wasnik himself, who will monitor the campaign's progress and interface with local party leadership. With these initiatives in place, the Congress anticipates that Tamil Nadu's electorate will again support their alliance.
Simultaneously, preparations buzz across Trichy for significant political events. On March 9, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) will host its 12th State Conference, while on March 11, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a National Democratic Alliance (NDA) rally, signalling high-stakes political engagements for the region.
