Congress General Secretary Mukul Wasnik announced on Sunday that the All India Congress Committee (AICC) has appointed three senior observers to enhance the party's election strategy in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
Leading the charge, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has dispatched Qazi Mohammad Nizamuddin, Mukul Wasnik, and Telangana's Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy as overseers. These officials are tasked with coordinating efforts and ensuring the party's readiness throughout the election campaign duration.
Simultaneously, the political landscape remains active, with the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) gearing up for its 12th State Conference on March 9 in Trichy, and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) preparing for a public gathering to be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 11, also in Trichy.
