Basanagouda Patil Yatnal, the expelled BJP MLA from Vijayapura, firmly stated he would not consider rejoining the BJP as long as what he calls a 'corrupt family' remains in command in Karnataka.
Yatnal, while addressing reporters in New Delhi, announced plans to launch his own JCB Party with ambitions to become the next Chief Minister of Karnataka. He emphasized his visit was personal, including attending a wedding and meeting old friends, not politically motivated to re-enter the BJP.
Yatnal also criticized the influence of former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa's family within the BJP, insisting that he values self-respect over political reentry. His previous critiques led to his expulsion for six years from the party, emphasizing the contentious dynamic with Yediyurappa.
