The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has raised serious allegations involving an attack on one of its councillors and a worker in west Delhi. During a press conference, AAP MP Sanjay Singh accused individuals associated with BJP MLA Umang Bajaj of assaulting Jyoti Gautam and Sanjay Bhairava in the Rajendra Nagar constituency.
No immediate response was forthcoming from BJP regarding these accusations. Singh asserted that medical documentation of the incident exists. He demanded that the police file an FIR and urged both the Union Home Ministry and the Delhi Police to act swiftly.
In a related matter, Singh cited a case of extortion involving former AAP MLA Somesh Shokeen, who reportedly received a Rs 10 crore extortion threat.
