Priyadarshini Scindia's 9-day Guna visit begins Monday
Ever since Congress President Rahul Gandhi recently appointed Jyotiraditya -- the incumbent MP from Guna constituency -- as the General Secretary in-charge for western Uttar Pradesh, there have been talks that his wife Priyadarshini could contest the election from her husband's constituency. Earlier, Congress workers had also demanded to field Priyadarshini from Guna by passing an internal resolution.
Guna has been considered as the citadel of Congress from where Vijaya Raje Scindia, her son Madhavrao Scindia and Jyotiraditya Scindia have won many elections in the past.
