On Thursday, DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin alleged that the NDA's actions amounted to a series of betrayals, including neglecting MSMEs and education funding amid the West Asia crisis. At an election rally, he also criticized AIADMK chief Edappadi K Palaniswami for lacking any significant achievements during his tenure from 2017-2021.

Stalin condemned the slow construction of Madurai AIIMS, pointing out its decade-long delay as a glaring example of incompetence. He further accused the NDA of betraying Tamil Nadu by amending crucial laws, not scrapping NEET, denying new Metro rail projects, and failing to protect weavers and MSMEs. The CM emphasized ongoing welfare schemes, particularly for women, under the DMK regime, contrasting them with the previous AIADMK government's record on safety and crime against women.

Highlighting ongoing allegations of corruption within AIADMK and the NDA, Stalin dismissed their leadership, labeling it as corrupt and deceitful. Criticizing the 'double engine' mantra of the NDA as ineffective, he asserted that voters would decisively reject them in the upcoming Assembly polls. He accused NDA allies of standing against the interests of Tamil Nadu's people with misleading narratives.
