Senior DMK leader A Raja has taken legal action against a YouTube channel, alleging that they disseminated a fraudulent audio clip linked to him. Raja claims the clip was artificially created to misrepresent his statements.

The controversy stemmed from AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami's use of the clip to make derogatory allegations against late DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin. The clip, reportedly generated using AI and selective editing, insinuates that CM Stalin is unfit for leadership, alongside other incendiary claims.

Raja criticized Palaniswami for relying on this allegedly doctored content for political advantage, labeling the action as 'politically uncivilised'. He cited poet Bharathiyar while slamming the opponent, emphasizing the manipulation of the narrative.
