On Friday, a senior Pakistani defence expert confirmed that Islamabad deployed military resources to secure the safe return of an Iranian delegation post-peace talks with the United States.
Led by Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammed Bagher Ghalibaf, the delegation included Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and other officials. They returned on April 12, following discussions held in Islamabad with a US team spearheaded by Vice President JD Vance.
