In a fiery address, AIADMK chief Edappadi K Palaniswami criticized the incumbent DMK government, declaring the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly election as a pivotal moment to eliminate 'family rule and dynasty politics' in the state.

Speaking at an NDA rally, he accused the DMK of exploiting Tamil Nadu, stating that the upcoming election would serve as a battle against dominance by a single family.

Joined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Palaniswami highlighted the AIADMK's historic mission, dating back to its founder MG Ramachandran, to challenge DMK's influence. Praising Modi, he affirmed the Prime Minister's significant contribution to enhancing India's global standing.
