Mallikarjun Kharge, President of the AICC, conveyed strong confidence about the Congress alliances claiming a clear majority in states such as Tamil Nadu and Kerala, following the recent assembly elections.

Despite the ambiguous exit poll results, Kharge firmly believes Congress will outperform expectations in states like Assam. ''Exit polls have shown that in Assam we are not getting seats as expected, but I'm confident that we will get more seats than what they are showing,'' he stated.

Regarding West Bengal and Puducherry, Kharge recognized the intense competition presented by other parties but anticipates Congress growth and influence in these regions. The final election results are scheduled for release on May 4.
