AIADMK leader Edappadi K Palaniswami has countered exit poll forecasts suggesting a DMK victory in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. He emphasized his party's history of overcoming such predictions, as evidenced in the 2011 and 2016 elections led by the late J Jayalalithaa.
Palaniswami accused the current DMK leadership of spreading disinformation through exit polls to mislead the public and demoralize AIADMK supporters. He urged party workers to remain vigilant and to ensure accuracy during the upcoming vote counts.
Despite exit poll predictions, Palaniswami remains confident, asserting that the AIADMK-led alliance would secure victory in 210 of the state's 234 assembly seats. His comments come as tensions mount ahead of the final vote tally set for May 4.
