Addressing reporters, Parameshwara emphasized that Kharge's statement should be respected and accepted by all party members.

Kharge, after discussions with prominent Congress figures like Rahul and Sonia Gandhi, stated that the current chief minister of Karnataka will remain in office for the time being. Parameshwara highlighted Kharge's experience and authority, underscoring the need to adhere to the directive from the party's high command.
