Senior BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for her theatrical actions outside a counting centre in Bhabanipur. Speaking at the BJP election office, Adhikari accused the CM of trying to alter the election outcome with her dramatic gestures.
Adhikari, contesting against Banerjee in the Bhabanipur constituency, highlighted Banerjee's four-hour stay at the counting centre in a well-equipped vehicle. He asserted that her attempts to change the election results are ineffective, suggesting her exit from power is imminent.
The allegations of EVM tampering have fueled tensions between the Trinamool Congress and BJP supporters. Protests erupted in Kolkata, as both sides prepared for the May 4th outcome that could see a significant political shift in West Bengal's government.
