Engineer Rashid’s Father Airlifted for Critical Care at AIIMS

Sheikh Abdul Rashid's father, Khazir Mohammad Sheikh, was airlifted to AIIMS, New Delhi, for advanced treatment. Rashid, currently in Tihar Jail, visited him on a one-week interim bail. The family seeks public prayers for Mr. Sheikh’s recovery during this challenging period.

The ailing father of Lok Sabha MP Sheikh Abdul Rashid was airlifted to AIIMS, New Delhi, for specialized medical treatment on Saturday. The decision was taken following medical advice due to his deteriorating condition.

As confirmed by Inam Un Nabi, the chief spokesperson of Rashid's Awami Itihaad Party, Rashid's father, Khazir Mohammad Sheikh, had been receiving treatment at SMHS hospital prior to the transfer. The family is hopeful that the advanced care at AIIMS will aid his recovery.

Meanwhile, Rashid, who has been detained in Tihar Jail since his arrest in 2019 related to a terror-funding case, was granted one-week interim bail on Tuesday by the Delhi High Court. He arrived to be with his father on Wednesday. The family has requested public prayers for his father's speedy recovery during this critical time.
