Rangasamy Leads AINRC to Victory in Puducherry's Assembly Elections
Chief Minister N Rangasamy and his AINRC party lead in seven Assembly constituencies in Puducherry as vote counting progresses. Contesting from two constituencies, Rangasamy is ahead in Thattanchavady. Other AINRC candidates gain leads in Villianur, Muthialpet, Ariankuppam, Enbalam, Nettapakkam, and Karaikal North, according to Election Commission data.

In Puducherry, Chief Minister N Rangasamy and his AINRC party are seeing significant triumphs as vote counting continues following the April 9 elections. The Election Commission reports that Rangasamy, contesting from two constituencies, has a notable lead in Thattanchavady by 3,591 votes.
Alongside him, AINRC candidates R Ravikumar, Vaiyapuri Manikandan, C Aiyappan, E Mohandoss, P Rajavelu, and P R N Thirumurugan are ahead in Villianur, Muthialpet, Ariankuppam, Enbalam, Nettapakkam, and Karaikal North constituencies.
In addition to the AINRC's success, BJP candidates A Namassivayam and T K SM Meenatchisundaram also hold leads in Mannadipet and Neravy T R Pattinam. This election marks a significant phase in the political landscape of the Union Territory.
