In the wake of the UDF's significant triumph in Kerala, Punjab Congress President Amrinder Singh Raja Warring confidently declared on Monday that his party is poised to seize the reins in Punjab, with assembly elections looming next year.
The Ludhiana MP attributed the Congress’ strengthened position in Kerala to previous victories in Lok Sabha and local body elections. Shifting focus to West Bengal, he cited the TMC's shortcomings and the BJP's alleged exploitations of administrative partialities as vital to TMC's downfall.
Warring assured that Punjab's political landscape remains distinct, citing failed BJP efforts to polarize the region—a tactic he insists won’t work. He also called into question the BJP government's approach to crime issues, linking them to local electoral dynamics.
