Cambodia Responds to Thailand's Energy Agreement Pullout

Cambodia has expressed regret following Thailand's decision to terminate a 25-year-old joint energy exploration agreement, the nation's foreign minister stated on Tuesday.
Prak Sokhonn, in his statement, revealed that Cambodia plans to initiate a compulsory conciliation mechanism under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea in response to the cancellation.
Despite Thailand's termination of the agreement, Cambodia asserts that its lawful rights over the maritime areas remain unaffected.
