United Forces: India and Cambodia Join Hands in Military Exercise
The armies of India and Cambodia are conducting the second edition of Exercise CINBAX in Cambodia's Kampong Speu province. This two-week military drill aims to boost interoperability and operational synergy, focusing on counter-terrorism operations and skills like drone and sniper tactics.

The Indian and Cambodian armies are set to embark on a two-week military exercise, Exercise CINBAX-II, in Cambodia's Kampong Speu province. The initiative underscores the strengthening bilateral defense ties between the two nations, amidst evolving global security concerns.
The Indian contingent includes 120 personnel from the Maratha Light Infantry Regiment, while the Cambodian side has 160 personnel from the Royal Cambodian Army. The exercise aims to enhance interoperability, focusing on counter-terrorism operations undertaken during UN peacekeeping missions.
With a range of sophisticated tactical exercises and discussions, the event will also involve special skills training such as drone operations, mortar, and sniper tactics. The defense ministry highlights that this exercise not only bolsters operational synergy but also contributes to greater understanding in addressing regional security challenges.
