Santiago Martin's family has made substantial political strides in the 2026 Tamil Nadu and Puducherry assembly elections. In a rare feat, three family members secured victories on different party tickets, emphasizing a cross-party influence. Leemarose Martin, Santiago's wife, triumphed in the Lalgudi constituency representing the AIADMK.

Meanwhile, their son, Jose Charles Martin, claimed victory in the Kamaraj Nagar constituency of Puducherry, contesting under the LJK banner. His son-in-law, Aadhav Arjuna, completed the family trifecta with a win in Chennai's Villivakkam constituency on a ticket from Vijay's TVK.

According to the Election Commission, Leemarose Martin bested her TVK rival by 2,739 votes, while Jose Charles Martin and Aadhav Arjuna won with margins of 10,205 and 17,302 votes, respectively, establishing the Martin group's political prominence.
