In a dramatic turn in Tamil Nadu's political landscape, senior DMK leader T R Baalu accused the Congress of betraying voters. The Congress, a long-time ally of DMK, has allied with actor-politician Vijay's TVK, according to Baalu's recent statement.
The Congress's decision, which emerged just after the assembly elections, has allegedly exposed the party's previously concealed strategies. As per Baalu, the DMK has been a steadfast ally to Congress, its support unwavering even during Congress's crises.
Controversially, Baalu compared Congress's current actions to the BJP's past political maneuvers. This alliance with TVK has shifted Tamil Nadu's political dynamics significantly, with TVK capturing 108 out of 234 assembly seats, leaving Congress with just five seats.
