Speculation is rife in Tamil Nadu about a possible alliance between political giants DMK and AIADMK. Certain media reports suggest the two parties may combine forces to overtake actor-turned-politician Vijay's TVK, which holds a significant 108 MLAs. However, political figures are calling these rumors unfounded.
Despite TVK leader Vijay's recent visit to Lok Bhavan to claim the chance to form the government, Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar has yet to extend an invitation to TVK. This inaction has prompted speculation about a potential DMK-AIADMK coalition.
Ex-MP and former AIADMK leader P K C Palanisamy doubts such a coalition could succeed, citing potential difficulties in ministerial appointments and unresolved leadership issues. Additionally, political critic Satyalaya Ramakrishnan emphasizes the lack of discussions between the parties, labeling the reports as mere conjecture.
