Prateek Yadav, the son of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, has passed away at the age of 38. Despite rushing him to the civil hospital after he fell ill, Prateek was declared dead upon arrival, sources disclosed.

Though coming from a prominent political lineage, Prateek distanced himself from politics. His wife, however, is actively involved with the BJP and is a vice-chair at the State Women Commission. Prateek was admired for his dedication to fitness and animal advocacy.
