In a rare display of political unity, leaders from diverse parties expressed their condolences following the unexpected death of Prateek Yadav, the younger son of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav. Prateek, 38, fell suddenly ill and was declared dead at Lucknow's Civil Hospital, prompting an outpouring of grief.

Notable figures, including SP leader Shivpal Singh Yadav and UP's Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, conveyed their shock and sympathy to the Yadav family.
