Prateek, 38, fell suddenly ill and was declared dead at Lucknow's Civil Hospital, prompting an outpouring of grief.
Notable figures, including SP leader Shivpal Singh Yadav and UP's Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, conveyed their shock and sympathy to the Yadav family.
