In a significant move for the Delhi Congress, chief Devender Yadav announced the induction of new members into the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) after 14 years. These appointments aim to bolster the party's presence through a blend of experienced leaders, youth, women, and minority representatives.
Addressing the newly appointed members at a gathering at Rajiv Bhawan, Yadav stressed the importance of coupling responsibility with accountability. He urged the new team to diligently work on creating a robust booth-level network across Delhi, integrating efforts with various party wings and cells.
Yadav also highlighted the strengthened organizational structure, noting the appointment of district and block presidents. He called for leaders to consistently voice public concerns and challenge the current government's perceived inaction on governance and development issues. Former MLA Anil Bhardwaj praised Yadav's recent efforts for solidifying the party's foundation in the capital.
