In a significant transition for Kerala's political landscape, newly appointed Chief Minister-designate V D Satheesan has been on a diplomatic outreach. On Friday, he visited former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at the latter’s residence for discussions on various topics, including health and diet.

Vijayan, elected as the CPI(M) legislature party leader and set to become the Leader of the Opposition, shared cordial talks with Satheesan over green tea. Satheesan commended Vijayan's disciplined lifestyle and discussed the importance of their cooperation for the greater good of Kerala.

Satheesan also made concerted efforts to meet with other senior leaders, including P J Joseph of the Kerala Congress, while showing respect for former Speaker G Karthikeyan's family. This outreach underlines the significance of teamwork and continuity for Kerala's governance and progress.
