This move, as announced by District Collector Sanjayshingh Chavan, seeks active participation from citizens to support the national interest.

The initiative follows Modi’s recent appeal during a BJP rally in Hyderabad, emphasizing the need for fuel restraint. Suggestions included reducing petrol and diesel consumption, carpooling, and optimizing the use of metro rail services and electric vehicles, all to conserve foreign currency.

Parbhani Guardian Minister Meghana Sakore-Bordikar urged locals to avoid using personal vehicles, instead opting for public transport and bicycles, underscoring that saving energy is imperative. By engaging in such initiatives, citizens can contribute significantly to the national effort to save energy and fuel.
