The arrest ensued after the Telangana High Court denied interim protection, leading to Bageerath's judicial custody. Despite the turmoil, including his mother's heart stroke, Kumar acknowledged the emotional strain on his family, yet found solace and strength in the widespread support from the BJP and the public.

Thanking supporters, Kumar urged BJP cadres to remain focused and committed to the party’s cause in Telangana. He stressed that while justice may be delayed, it is not denied, remaining hopeful of a resolution.
