Celebrating 75 Years: Rajasthan Legislative Assembly's New Logo Unveiling

Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde unveiled a new logo celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, highlighting its democratic legacy. The design, spearheaded by Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, incorporates symbols of regional resilience. Bagde emphasized the role of education in progress and conscious citizenship for a stronger democracy.

On Monday, Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde unveiled a new and commemorative logo marking the 75th anniversary of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. During the ceremony, 13 gates of the assembly premises were also named, a move officials say honors the institution's longstanding democratic history.

Governor Bagde, who was addressing the gathering, described the Assembly as a cornerstone of democracy, highlighting its rich and impactful history. The logo, conceptualized by Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, embodies elements like the state flower Rohida, the Khejri tree, and the Vidhan Bhavan — symbols resonating with the resilience and spirit of the people residing in Rajasthan's demanding landscapes.

In addition to the logo unveiling, Governor Bagde underscored the critical importance of education for national progress, advocating for improved management of educational resources, particularly for disadvantaged groups. He also recalled his own experiences as Speaker of the Maharashtra Assembly, emphasizing the need for citizens to uphold both their rights and duties to fortify democracy.
