A fire broke out in the 'malkhana' of the New Ashok Nagar police station in east Delhi on Tuesday, prompting authorities to rush eight fire tenders to the spot, an official of the DFS said.
A call regarding fire breaking out in the 'malkhana' (storeroom) of the police station was received at 1.06 pm, the Delhi Fire Services officer said.
''We rushed eight fire tenders to the spot and the firefighting operation is ongoing,'' the DFS officer said.
