Cuba's foreign minister calls critical White House statement "misinformed"

​Cuba's ‌foreign minister on Wednesday ​said a ‌White House statement critical of the country's communist-run ‌government was "superficial and ‌misinformed."

The Trump administration issued a statement ⁠to ​mark ⁠May 20, 1902, the date ⁠the Republic of Cuba ​was officially proclaimed, the ⁠same day that the ⁠U.S. ​was expected to indict ⁠former President Raul Castro.
